
Auctus's Gustoso bolts on restaurants chain Ciao Bella
Auctus Capital Partners-backed Gustoso Group, a German food service, has acquired a majority stake in restaurant chain Ciao Bella.
The GP's portfolio company acquired a controlling stake in the business for an undisclosed amount. Following the acquisition, the Munich-based group will comprise flagship restaurant chain Gustoso, as well as Mission, Cotidiano, Sushi Wrap and Ciao Bella.
Gustoso intends to open 30 new restaurants under the Ciao Bella brand by 2019, according to local press reports.

Auctus backed Gustoso's MBO in 2015.
Company
Founded in 2006 and based in Hamburg, Ciao Bella manages a chain of 40 Italian restaurants across Germany, primarily focusing on pasta and pizza. In 2016, the business posted €10m in revenues, with a 30% CAGR, according to a statement.
