
Creandum and Eight Roads lead $10m series-A for 8fit
Creandum and Eight Roads Ventures have led a $10m series-A funding round for health and fitness application 8fit.
The fresh capital will be used for recruitment to support the company's international user growth.
Both VCs emphasised the importance of digital health and fitness to their investment strategies as a key reason for backing 8fit.

8fit was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Berlin with operations in Palo Alto. The company has developed an application that gives health and fitness advice to its customers. The guidance includes workouts, meal plans and personalised programmes. It employs 50 people worldwide.
