
Project A, Vito lead €4m seed round for Artisense
German VC firms Project A and Vito Ventures have led a €4m seed funding round for Munich-based computer vision technology company Artisense.
Chris Hitchen, an entrepreneur and venture adviser to EQT Ventures, also took part in the round.
The fresh capital will be used to further develop the company's software and expand its teams in Munich, Palo Alto and Tokyo.
Company
Founded in 2015 as a spinout from the technical university in Munich, Artisense develops navigational software for computers. Its software is used by automated vehicles and robots, and recently secured a partnership with Airbus. The company has offices in Munich, Palo Alto and Tokyo, and currently employs 10 people.
