
VC firms in €20m round for Flaschenpost
Cherry Ventures and Vorwerk Ventures have taken part in a €20m funding round for German drink delivery service Flaschenpost.
The latest round was led by Portuguese family office Sociedade Francisco Manuel Dos Santos.
The fresh capital will be used to launch the service in further German cities after the success in Münster and Cologne.
Previous funding
Cherry and Vorwerk invested an undisclosed sum in Flaschenpost to fund its expansion into Cologne in March 2016.
Company
Flaschenpost is an online drink delivery service headquartered in Münster. It offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and claims to always deliver within 120 minutes. It employs 500 drivers and has 65 delivery vans in Münster alone, according to press reports.
