Valar leads $13m series-A for Taxfix
Valar Ventures has led a $13m series-A for Berlin-based Taxfix, a mobile assistant for tax declarations.
Existing investors Creandum and Redalpine also participated in the round.
The latest funding will allow Taxfix to bring its 20-minute tax return app to other countries, and also to invest in machine learning to develop its tax engine technology.
According to the startup, it submits around 800 tax returns per day to the financial authorities, claiming back money for its users.

Headquartered in Berlin and launched in 2017, Taxfix is a mobile app enabling users to file tax declarations.
