
ETF leads €10m round for Cloud&Heat
ETF Partners has led a €10m series-B funding round for Dresden-based data centre operator Cloud&Heat Technologies.
Inven Capital, the corporate venturing arm of the Czech energy company, is an existing investor in Cloud&Heat and also took part in the latest financing.
The new capital will be used to support expansion into Asia and the US, as well as to invest in technological development.
Previous funding
Cloud&Heat used crowdfunding platform Seedmatch to raise capital at seed stage. In total, it raised more than €5m in seed funding between May 2013 and January 2015.
Inven led the company's series-A in May 2017; the amount was not disclosed.

Cloud&Heat operates data centres that are used for cloud computing. The company has developed technology for capturing and reusing waste heat in order to reduce energy consumption. The company is headquartered in Dresden and employs 80 people.
