
VC firms back €15m series-B for Zenjob
A consortium of VC firms led by Axa Venture Partners has invested in a €15m series-B funding round for on-demand staffing platform Zenjob.
Existing investors Acton Capital Partners, Redalpine and Atlantic Labs also took part in the latest financing.
The company stated that the fresh capital will be invested in technological product development and the expansion of the business across Germany and beyond.
Previous funding
Atlantic Labs led a seed round for Zenjob in April 2016 and participated in its €8m series-A a year later. 500 Startups, Acton and Redalpine also took part in the series-A.
Company
Zenjob was founded in Berlin in 2016. The company has developed a staffing platform to provide flexible labour to employers. Employees are given on-the-job feedback through the app and all administrative procedures are undertaken by Zenjob.
The company has supplied staff to 1,000 firms and fills 10,000 vacancies a month. It employs 180 people directly.
