
Capital Dynamics closes fund-of-funds for DACH LPs on €208m
Asset manager Capital Dynamics has held a final close on €208m for Capital Dynamics Future Essentials, surpassing its €200m target.
The fund-of-funds has been developed to meet the investment appetite, and portfolio, regulatory and tax requirements, of DACH-based LPs.
It will invest in buyout funds globally with a strong focus on mid-market buyout and growth capital funds. It also said selected managers should have a strong focus on ESG.
The vehicle was registered in the UK as Capital Dynamics Future Essentials LP in April 2016.
Investors
The fund has 30 LPs, all based in the DACH region, including pension funds, insurance companies, banks, and multi-family offices. Capital Dynamics said the LP-base includes new and existing clients.
Investments
The vehicle will make LP commitments to mid-market buyout funds and growth capital funds globally. It also has a bucket for co-investment funds and secondary transactions.
