Nauta Capital leads $6m round for German startup Zenloop
Nauta Capital has led a $6m funding round for Berlin-based Zenloop, a customer experience management platform.
Venture capital house Piton Capital also took part in the funding round, alongside entrepreneurs including Christian Henschel, co-founder of Adjust.
Unquote understands that Nauta deployed capital from its €155m Nauta Tech Invest IV fund to finance the round. The vehicle targets European software companies and deploys equity tickets between €1-7m. Nauta plans to invest in approximately 25 companies from this fund and has so far backed 18 businesses.
Zenloop intends to use the fresh capital raised to boost its growth, expand across Europe beyond the DACH region and scale up its team of 35, which will be doubled by the end of 2019. In addition, the funding will be used to strengthen and expand the platform's IP in machine learning capabilities.
Following the deal, Nauta Capital partner Guillem Sagué, Piton Capital founding partner Andrin Bachmann and entrepreneur Christian Henschel will join Zenloop's board.
