Global Founders Capital in $2.8m series-A for Sviper

The fresh capital will be used to expand operations and the reach of the company. The round was led by Modern Times Group, a Sweden-based digital entertainment company.

Global Founders, which is the venture arm of Rocket Internet, raised a €150m fund in 2013.

Previous funding
Global Founders invested in a $1.5m seed round for Sviper in 2016.

Company
Founded in 2016 and based in Hamburg, Sviper is a mobile gaming studio. It has 10 employees. In 2018, the company partnered with mobile games publisher Flaregames to launch Super Spell Heroes, a puzzle duel game.
