Emeram-backed Meona bolts on Dr Heni
Meona, a portfolio company of Emeram Capital, has acquired pharmacy software provider Dr Heni und Partner Steuerberater Rechtsanwälte.
The acquisition will strengthen Meona's product range of clinical software. The acquisition is part of Emeram's continued buy-and-build strategy for Meona.
Meona and E.care were acquired and merged by Emeram in 2017 using funds from Emeram's Fund I. The vehicle generally makes equity investments of between €20-50m in transactions with an enterprise value of between €30-250m.
The vendor of the company was founder Josef Heni.

Dr Heni makes software that supports pharmacists in the preparation, prescription and billing of cytostatic medicines. The company was founded in 1998 and is based in Kirchzarten. Dr Heni's main products are Zenzy – a program for organising the production of cytostatic drugs – and A-Taxe, which is software for dealing with drug taxes.
