VCs in €10m series-A for Fliit
Maersk Growth, the Maschmeyer Group and Berlin Technologie Holding have invested in a €10m series-A funding round for logistics software company Fliit.
Berlin Technology makes investments of between €500,000-3m.
Maersk Growth, the venture capital arm of logistics company Maersk, invested in Fliit because the company's offering fit with Maersk's overall integrator strategy.
The fresh capital will be used for international expansion, growth and development.
Previous funding
In 2016, seed investor B10 participated in a funding round for Fliit for an undisclosed amount.
VC Fonds Kreativwirtschaft Berlin and IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft led a €1.5m seed round for Fliit in 2017. PD Ventures, WestTech Ventures and Saarbruecker 21 also participated.
Company
Founded in 2016, Fliit has built a platform that connects food companies with a network of carriers. It provides central technological applications for management and control, and counts Rewe and Amazon Fresh as customers. The company is based in Berlin. It boasts partnerships with 200 carriers.
