Redalpine backs $30m series-B for Taxfix
Swiss venture capital firm Redalpine Capital has invested in a $30m series-B for its portfolio company Taxfix.
The round was led by Valar Ventures with participation from Creandum.
Redalpine drew capital from its third venture fund (RAC III), which held a final close on its CHF 100m hard-cap in 2017.
Taxfix will use the fresh funding to support further product development and growth.
Previous funding
Creandum and Redalpine led a €2m seed funding round for Taxfix in 2017. Both investors returned to a $13m series-A led by Valar in August 2018.
Company
Headquartered in Berlin and founded in 2016, Taxfix is a mobile app enabling users to file tax declarations. The company claims that through a questionnaire and machine-learning technology, the user can file a declaration within 20 minutes, compared to the hours usually required with traditional paperwork.
