HTGF et al. invests in Simreka
Seed and early-stage investor High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has invested in simulation software developer Simreka.
HTGF is currently investing from its High-Tech Gründerfonds III vehicle, which raised €319.5m. HTGF III makes initial investments of €1-3m in Germany-based technology startups.
The company also received investment from Sap.IO Fund, Sap's early-stage investment arm that invests in software startups. The two investors, Sap.IO and HTGF, have invested more than €1m in this financing round.
The fresh capital will be used to expand Simreka's sales and marketing functions, and develop new capabilities for the product.
Company
Simreka offers enterprise software, and a materials and manufacturing processes database that allows manufacturers to design and build new products with faster trials. The company is based in Düsseldorf and operates offices in the Netherlands and India. It employs fewer than 10 people, according to LinkedIn.
