ECM acquires Piketec
ECM Equity Capital Management has acquired test software developer Piketec.
ECM will use equity from its German Equity Partners V fund. The vehicle closed on €325m in June 2018 and invests in companies with enterprise values of €20-80m, making investments of between €10-40m.
The Piketec founders will stay in their positions in the management team. The founders want to capture significant growth potential by staying on with the company, according to a statement.
The capital will be invested in sales, internationalisation, the introduction of new software products, and an expansion into new application areas.

Founded in 2007 and based in Berlin, Piketec provides test software and advises companies in the field of testing safety-relevant embedded systems.
