Lakestar leads $70m series-C for Sennder
Zurich-based venture capital firm Lakestar has led a $70m series-C funding round for German logistics software company Sennder.
Accel, Next47, H14, HV Holtzbrinck Ventures, Project A and Scania Growth Capital all took part in the latest financing at a valuation of $300m.
The fresh capital will be used to roll out Sennder's platform across Europe and further develop the software.
It is the second funding round Sennder has raised this year, after closing a $30m series-B led by Accel.
Previous funding
Sennder raised a seed round from private investors in 2015 and a series-A backed by American VC Dynamo in 2016.
Scania joined the syndicate with extra capital in 2017, before Accel led a $30m series-B earlier this year.
Company
Sennder was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Berlin. It develops software for the freight and logistics industry including mobile apps for drivers, fleet management tools for carrier managers, and logistics management software for shippers.
