Prime leads €40m series-C for Holidu
Prime Ventures has led a €40m series-C funding round for vacation rental search engine Holidu.
Also participating in the round were new investors Coparion and MairDuMont Ventures, as well as all existing investors, including EQT Ventures, Venture Stars, Senovo and business angel Chris Hitchen.
The fresh capital will be used to drive product development for both the company's platforms and open multiple regional offices.
Previous funding
In 2014, Holidu received $900,000 from an undisclosed investor.
EQT Ventures, Venture Stars and angel investors participated in a €5m series-A for Holidu in 2016.
In 2018, EQT Ventures led the company's series-B for an undisclosed amount, with participation from Venture Stars, Senovo and Loric Ventures.

Founded in 2014, Holidu is a vacation rentals search engine that compares the prices of rental properties across 600 different websites. It is now active in 21 markets. It also operates a website for vacation rental management called Bookiply. The company is headquartered in Munich and employs more than 150 people.
