
Partech leads €30m series-B for Amboss
Partech Ventures has co-led a €30m series-B for Berlin-based Amboss, a developer of medical information software, alongside Target Global.
Existing investors Cherry Ventures, Wellington Partners and Holtzbrinck Digital also took part in the latest round.
The app was originally launched as a study tool for medical students, but the company now employs 70 doctors and 40 software engineers to provide knowledge to medical professionals.
With the fresh capital, Amboss will accelerate its global roll-out with a focus on the US.
Previous funding
Holtzbrinck Digital, Cherry Ventures and Wellington Partners all took part in a series-A for Amboss in 2015. Financial details of the round were not disclosed.
