
Battery acquires WinWorker
Battery Ventures has acquired Germany-based business management software developer WinWorker.
The GP is currently investing from its Battery Ventures XIII fund, which held a final close on $1.2bn in February 2020. The vehicle invests alongside its companion fund Battery Ventures XIII Side Fund, which was also closed in February 2020 on $800m. The fund mainly focuses on US- and Europe-based tech companies in the sectors of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, business software, enterprise IT, financial technology, healthcare-IT, industrial technology and online marketplaces.
The investment will be used to fuel growth through product innovation, customer service, partnerships with industry organisations, and acquisitions.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Goch, WinWorker provides business management software and mobile tools for SME craftsmen companies located primarily in Europe. The company claims it has 6,000 customers, which include painters, drywall installers, timber construction and roofing specialists, window manufacturers and installers, and other speciality trades. It employs 10 people, according to LinkedIn.
