Main-backed Onventis acquires WorkFlowWise
Main Capital-backed company Onventis, a Germany-based provider of cloud-based procurement, has acquired WorkFlowWise, a Dutch workflow automation and e-invoicing software developer.
The deal comes almost a year after the GP acquired a majority stake in Onventis via Main Capital V. The fund makes investments with an initial ticket size of €3-5m and add-ons of up to €20m.
The acquisition will help Onventis to provide additional functionality and improved flexibility to its clients, along with expanding its client base to the Benelux region.
The company was founded in 2000 and is based in Stuttgart. At the time of Main Capital's backing, it generated €1.5m in EBITDA. The company aims to generate €20m in revenues over the next five years.
