
Eight Advisory opens Cologne office; appoints KPMG's Luchtenberg

Transactions and restructuring advisory firm Eight Advisory has announced the opening of an office in Cologne – its fourth office in Germany.
Curt-Oliver Luchtenberg is to head the Cologne office, the firm said in a statement. He joins the firm as partner from KPMG, where he focused on spin-offs, carve-outs, integrations and strategy projects in the industrial manufacturing sector.
Eight Advisory's German operations are headed by managing partner Michael Wahl, who is based in Frankfurt and joined the firm in 2018.
Headquartered in the UK, Eight Advisory employs 600 staff and also operates in Germany, France, the UK, Belgium, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
