HTGF et al. invest in fos4X
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Bayern Kapital and UnternehmerTUM's venture capital arm have invested in fibre-optic measurement business fos4X.
Company
fos4X is a Munich-based technology company and spin-off from Techische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM). Its prime product is a fibre-optic sensor used to measure wind force on the rotor blades of wind turbines. fos4X also sees application of its products in measuring the force of pantographs on trains.
The company was founded in 2010 by Thorbjoern Buck, Lars Hoffmann, Matthias Mueller and Rolf Wojtech.

Ingo Potthof led the investment for UnternehmerTUM. Investment managers Guillem Sague and Wolfgang Haertl represented HTGF and Bayern respectively.
