Senovo backs Slideflight

Senovo has provided funding for Slideflight, a German developer of software that allows lecturers to share slideshows.
The investment is unusual for Senovo, since the VC's management developed and tested the business idea themselves before recruiting managing director Georg Kremer and COO Philip Franta to manage the spinout Slideflight.
The company will use the funding to further develop its first product Slideflight, which is ready for sale, and to work on the new Beamium product, which is currently being developed. The company's management team hopes to raise additional funding from new investors this year.
Company
Founded in November 2015 and based in Munich, Slideflight enables lecturers to share their presentation in real time on the mobile devices of their audience. After downloading the Slideflight PowerPoint add-in, the lecturer can publish the presentation while listeners are able to follow the presentation on their notebooks, tablets and smartphones. The presentation can be viewed on the Slideflight app or on a web viewer.
