Orange Growth backs Legalbase's seed round
Orange Growth Capital and Norwegian startup incubator Norselab have backed the seed round of German legal platform Legalbase.
Legalbase's competitor LegalZoom, which operates in the US and the UK, also participated in the seed round, with its COO Frank Monestere joining Legalbase's board.
The seven-digit seed round took place pre-launch in November 2015, but the announcement was delayed until the platform's launch in February 2016.

Founded in 2015 and based in Berlin, Legalbase is an online platform that offers legal service products at a fixed price. Its service includes reviewing employment agreements, drawing up documents associated with forming a company, and filing a trademark.
