BayBG invests in Purus Plastics
Munich-based private equity firm BayBG Beteiligungsgesellschaft has invested in Purus Plastics, which makes plastic products from recycled material.
BayBG entered a silent partnership with Purus, providing mezzanine funding after being approached by the company. The investment will be used to accelerate product development and to enter new markets.
The investor has also been active in the VC space lately. In December 2015, it participated in the €7.5m round for NavVis, a German 3D indoor mapping and navigation platform, alongside Target Partners and MIG Fonds.

Founded in 1994 and based in Arzberg, Purus is a company that develops products from recycled plastics, such as ground reinforcement, grids, roof greening, plastic pallets, cable spools and floor mats. It has 150 employees and revenues of €22m.
