Point Nine backs accounting tool Candis
Point Nine Capital and business angels have backed German accountancy startup Candis with approximately €1m.
The idea for Candis's accountancy tool was developed during the Frankfurt Bankathon, a fintech hackathon that the founding team won in April 2015. The developers are now working on a speech-recognition-based app for the Apple Watch.

Founded in 2015 and based in Berlin, Candis develops accounting softfware. The tool automatically extracts bills from mailboxes and prepares them for the accountant. The startup claims to have around 80 corporate clients.
