PDV Inter-Media Venture et al. back PressMatrix

PDV joined existing investors High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), LBBW Venture and Vilitas, which re-invested in this round.

The fresh capital will be used to expand into new international markets.

Founded in 2011 and based in Berlin, PressMatrix is a technical service provider helping publishers and companies distribute magazines and newspapers as applications for tablets and mobile devices, such as iPads and smartphones.

The company is present in the US, the UK, Ireland, Poland and Brasil, and currently has 35 employees.
