
Distribusion raises €6m from Northzone et al.
Distribusion, a German distribution company for intercity and shuttle buses, has raised €6m from Northzone and others.
Creandum, HR Ventures and Frühphasenfonds Brandenburg also participated in the round. Business angels Thomas Döring, Chris Hitchen, Richard Chen, Bo Mattsson and Marc Mogalle committed capital to the round as well.
The funding will be used for further product and technology development and to ramp up the acquisition and integration of new bus operators and resellers. In addition, Distribusion aims to improve market coverage across Europe and expand its business operations to the major intercity bus markets in South America and south-east Asia. The company aims to triple its German team by the end of 2016.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Munich, Distribusion is a developer of a distribution system for intercity bus and shuttle rides.
The startup connects travel resellers such as travel websites, online travel agencies (OTAs), travel agencies and tour operators with intercity bus operators worldwide.
Distribusion claims it provides 2 million bookable rides of more than 60 bus operators covering 25 countries to online resellers with more than 10 million unique visitors per month and to 4,000 travel agencies worldwide.
