Occident backs Cunesoft's seven-digit series-A
Munich-based software developer Cunesoft has raised a seven-digit series-A from Switzerland-based lead investor Occident Group and existing backers High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Bayern Kapital.
The company will use the funds to expand into the US and further grow in Asia, where it currently has an office in India. It also plans further investments to develop its technology, local sales activities, customer support and international sales network.
At the moment, Cunesoft's customers are small and medium-sized companies; the business hopes to also win over multinational corporations after improving its software.
HTGF and Bayern Kapital already teamed up earlier this week for their €1.9m investment in biopharmaceutical startup Thermosome.
Previous funding
In October 2014, HTGF and Bayern Kapital provided funding for Cunesoft's seed round.
Company
Founded in 2013 and based in Munich, Cunesoft provides cloud-based software for regulatory documents and submissions management for the pharmaceutical industry. The software-as-a-service company has local offices in Germany, France and India.
