HTGF and MBG recommit to Eyefactive
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Schleswig-Holstein (MBG) have invested a six-digit sum in German developer of multitouch technology Eyefactive.
The funding will be used to promote the company's first app platform for touchscreens. The startup also wants to make its software technology available for third party developers.
MBG was founded in 1994 on the initiative of the provincial government of Schleswig-Holstein as a local investment company. It generally commits in silent partnerships in startups as well as established companies. MBG currently supports around 500 companies with €100m invested.
Previous funding
In September 2011, HTGF led an investment in Eyefactive alongside existing shareholder MBG for an undisclosed amount.
Company
Founded in 2009 and based in Wedel, Eyefactive is a provider of interactive multitouch and multiuser technology. Its product portfolio consists of flexible and scalable multitouch displays integrated into tables and walls, as well as the first app platform for interactive signage software.
