Apax France promotes Capelle to partner in tech, telecoms team
Apax Partners France has promoted Henry Capelle to partner in its tech and telecoms team.
Apax now has 12 people in its tech and telecoms team, supporting small and mid-cap companies in Europe.
The private equity firm now has 14 partners.
Capelle has worked on transactions including Apax's acquisitions of engineering software developer Graitec, managed internet provider Expereo, and network performance software developer InfoVista.
He also worked on Apax's exits of management consulting business BIP to CVC, Altran to trade player Capgemini, and InfoPro to Towerbrook.
Paris-based Apax now says its portfolio has ten tech and telecoms investments in continental Europe, representing more than EUR 2.2bn in assets under management.
Capelle joined Apax in 2011, starting his career at Goldman Sachs in London in 2006 before joining the M&A team in Paris to cover French large-caps.
