
UFG Private Equity joins Siparex group
French small-cap house UFG Private Equity is now part of the Siparex group and has been renamed UFG-Siparex.
The firm manages a €300m portfolio and targets innovative or local business generating less than €50m turnover. The 10-strong team will be based in Siparex's Paris offices.
Sigefi, Siparex's managing company, now owns 34% of UFG-Siparex; it has a warrant to increase its stake to 50% within three years. The share-swap operation allowed UFG-LFP to secure a 7.5% stake in Siparex.
