
AXA may take Areva power distribution stake
According to reports, AXA Private Equity may team up with industrial players such as Schneider Electric or Alstom to purchase Areva's power distribution unit, worth around EUR3bn. The government is said to be pushing for the state-owned reactor in order for the company to raise capital.
Arvera, a global nuclear energy company, could also sell stakes in Safran and Eramet.
