
Gimv team formed
Belgian Private Equity house Gimv has increased its presence in the French capital after having initially opened up its first office in June 2007 with Geoffroy Dubud at its head. Gimv has formed a team which will specialise in buyouts headed by former Spef LBO member Arnaud Leclercq. Leclercq will have a specialist team supporting him by the end of 2008. Gimv has already been active in the French market investing in funds Isource III and Pragma II. Gimv will seek to make investments of EUR5-25m in companies valued at between EUR10-125m. As well as Paris and its headquarters in Antwerp, Gimv also have offices in London, Frankfurt and The Hague.
