Newfund makes maiden investment in Learnissimo
Newfund has made its first investment by purchasing a 33.5% stake in Learnissimo, an e-learning company. Newfund was launched in July 2008 and has a EUR68m fund.
Learnissimo is an internet site where foreign language students get in touch with native speaking tutors from all over the world and receive instruction by videophone. The Geneva-based company was founded in 2007 by Thierry and Stephane Engel, Roland Tripard and Philip Allamel.
