Rhone-Alpes PME Gestion recapitalised
Caisses d'Epargne de Rhone-Alpes, which consists of Caisse d'Epargne Rhone Aples and Caisse d'Epargne Ardeche, has taken a 50% stake in regional investors Rhone-Alpes PME Gestion. The deal saw original investor la Caisse des Depots et Consignations and Ecureuil Vie cede their 15% stake in the investor and Siparex cede 1%. Rhone-Alpes PME Gestion is now held 50/50 between Siparex and Caisses d'Epargne de Rhone-Alpes.
The firm, founded in 1999, has a EUR50m fund that invests in regional companies. Siparex will continue to oversee the investments by the company. Since its inception Caisses d'Epargne de Rhone-Alpes has invested EUR28m in 58 companies.
