Carlyle appoints Sarkozy as MD
The Carlyle Group has appointed Olivier Sarkozy, the half-brother of the current French president, as co-head and managing director of Carlyle's global financial services group. Sarkozy joins Carlyle from UBS, where he was joint global head of FIG Investment Banking. He will be based in New York and begins his duties in April.
