Univeg eats up Katope International
CVC Capital Partners-backed Univeg has acquired Katope International, the exotic fruit importer and distributor. CVC now has a 49% stake in Univeg. Katope was ceded by the Azoulay family. Katope, which was founded in 1969, had a EUR212m revenue figure in 2007.
