Elaia forms alliance with Necotec Capital
French venture capital firm Elaia Partners has formed a partnership with Neotec Capital Riesgo, a Spanish investment fund that focuses on the development of Spanish technology firms through investments with Spanish and European venture capital firms.
Following the agreement, Elaia Partners will invest in Spanish companies alongside Neotec Capital Riesgo. The execution and management of these investments will be handled by Elaia Partners through a delegation mandate. A first investment should take place this year.
Neotec Capital Riesgo was launched by the European Investment Fund and the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology, a Spanish public organisation, and has funded Spanish blue chip companies to the tune of EUR183m in commitments.
