
ERIP et al. in €8m round for Implanet
Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (ERIP), has led an €8m round for Implanet SA, a French developer of surgical implants for orthopedic and spine surgery, along side CM-CIC Private Equity, Wellington Partners and Seventures Partners.
As a new investor, CM-CIC Private Equity will bring €4m, thus becoming one of the reference institutional investors.
Led by Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, historical shareholders, Wellington Partners, Seventures Partners et Auriga Partners along with founders, management and several domain reference private investors such as Marie-Helene Plais Cotrel (ex Sofamor-Danek) continue to support the company since inception in 2007 and together provide €4m.
Based in Bordeaux, Implanet is a medical device and healthcare information technology company. It was incorporated in early 2007 and currently employs 45 full-time employees and is already present within eight countries. The company designs and manufactures surgical implants exclusively in France and in Europe.
