Granville Baird portfolio company makes acquisition
Granville Baird's portfolio company Zarges Tubesca Group has acquired aviation ground equipment company Group Albret. This marks the fourth buy-and-build acquisition of Zarges Tubesca, after acquiring Spanish Tendo, German Zacher and Dutch Skyworks. All together, these acquisitions boost Zarges Tubesca's turnover by EUR50m to an estimated EUR360m in 2008.
The acquisition was financed with a debt-only package. Granville Baird Capital Partners acquired Zarges Tubsca in 2007 for EUR156m from Taros Capital. DZ Equity also holds a 20% stake in the company.
