Activa-backed logitrade purchase ASI
Activa Capital's portfolio company Logitrade has purchased its smaller competitor Achat Services Industries (ASI). ASI has sales of EUR30m and will add 25% to Logitrade's combined sales. The new purchase was financed entirely by new debt. Active originally took a majority stake in ASI in 2006 (April 2006, page 41).
Montpellier-based Logitrade was founded in 1994 by Bernard Mercadier. The company assists business customers with non-strategic purchasing requirements and improving customer purchasing conditions, as well as outsourcing a fixed cost base to a variable cost base. The deal sees Herve Farge, CEO of ASI, become a shareholder of Logitrade.
