European Capital gets EUR10m Devglass repayment

European Capital has received a EUR10m repayment of junior mezzanine bonds from Newglass, the parent company of portfolio company Devglass, a manufacturer and distributor of dual-pane insulated glass for windows. Following its 20% growth in 2008, Devglass was able to reduce its financing. The group will continue to pursue domestic development through organic growth, as well as external acquisitions in 2009.
