BPI France, Idinvest et al. in $6.4m Cardiologs series-A
A consortium of French investors has taken part in a $6.4m series-A funding round for life sciences business Cardiologs Technologies.
Idinvest, Isai, Kurma Partners and Partech Ventures, together with existing shareholder BPI France, took part in the round, which brings the total funding raised by Cardiologs to $10m.
BPI France is backed by the French government's Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir (PIA). According to press reports, BPI France's first investment in Cardiologs in 2016 amounted to €1m. Both times the Ambition Amorçage Angels (F3A) fund was used to make the investment.
Cardiologs intends to accelerate the commercial development of the Cardiologs ECG Analysis Platform in the US and in Europe following this latest round of funding.

Founded in Paris in 2014, Cardiologs distributes software using artificial intelligence to enable healthcare professionals to proceed with cardiovascular screenings.
