Omnes Capital et al. in $1.7m series-A round for Vsora
Omnes Capital, Partech Ventures and angel investors have backed Vsora, a French startup delivering digital signal processing (DSP) intellectual property (IP), in a $1.7m series-A round.
The new round of funding will help the startup to expand Vsora's research and development, and build sales channels in the US and Asia.
Omnes launched its Omnes Real Tech fund in late 2017. The vehicle targets startups developing technological breakthroughs in various fields, including high-end sensors and semiconductors, hardware and big-data software, according to unquote" data.
Company
Founded in 2015, Vsora provides DSP intellectual property for 5G wireless networks to accelerate the design of complex integrated circuits, typically in the mobile, networking and consumer product markets. It claims its multi-core DSP architecture eliminates the need for DSP co-processors. It is based in Velizy-Villacoublay.
