Accel leads $3.3m seed round for Station
Venture capital house Accel Partners has led a $3.3m seed funding round for Paris-based startup Station.
Webb Investment Network and Kima Ventures also took part in the funding round.
The startup will use the fresh capital to further develop its browser by integrating more software-as-a-service applications, grow its team and expand its users base internationally.
Company
Launched in October 2017 and based in Paris, Station was founded by Alexandre Lachèze and Julien Berthomier within the eFounders startup studio. The company has developed a browser that unifies work applications in a single interface by incorporating numerous apps. The browser was designed for the work environment, aiming to reduce distractions and security risks inherent in a browser made for the consumer web, and to help employees to be more focused. Station employs six people and has reached 12,000 users.
