
BPI France in €7m funding round for eLichens
A consortium of investors has backed French startup eLichens in a €7m funding round.
The company's existing shareholders – PE house Demeter, investment company Sofimac Innovation and Aereco – also took part, alongside newcomer BNP Paribas Développement.
The startup will use the fresh capital to boost its growth in France and internationally.
Previous funding
eLichens received around €4m in a previous funding round led by Emertec, via its Fund V, alongside ISource, Sofimac, Aereco and BPI France in July 2016.
Company
Founded in 2014, eLichens provides software and devices able to measure air quality and monitor pollution levels outside and indoors. Its products then suggest possible solutions to reduce exposure to pollutants. eLichens is headquartered in Grenoble and has an office in Silicon Valley, California.
