Ardian and Generis inject €4m into TabMo
Paris-based advertising technology company TabMo has raised €4m from Ardian and venture capital firm Generis Capital Partners in its first round of funding.
This first injection of capital should help TabMo fund its expansion both in France and abroad, and accelerate the development of its offering.
The founders of the company will retain a majority stake in the business.
Future plans for TabMo include the strengthening of its European operations and the opening of a new branch in Germany.
Ardian Growth senior investment manager Romain Chiudini said online advertising is a rapidly growing sector offering opportunities to create European leaders in the field, and as such, a sector in which Ardian is keen to invest.
Company
Founded in 2013 by Renaud Buet and Hakim Metmer, TabMo offers mobile programmatic advertising, also known as programmatic buying or real-time bidding.
It allows agencies and advertisers to access publishers' inventory and mobile audience data on a worldwide scale, thus monitoring their purchasing and distribution in real time.
TabMo is based in Paris and currently employs 50 people. It has registered a growth rate of more than 100% per year since it was founded.
