Axcel acquires Trelleborg division for €70m
Axcel has acquired the roofing operations division of Trelleborg for a purchase consideration of approximately €70m.
The roofing operation is included in the Trelleborg Engineered Systems business area and comprises polymer and bitumen-based products for sealing and waterproofing applications for industry and consumers. Brands such as Mataki, Trebolit, Trelleborg Phønix, Hetag Tagmaterialer and Prelasti are included in the business.
The divested business has annual sales of approximately SEK 900m and employs 230 people.
