Private equity firms interested in ISS
Private equity firms are looking to acquire Danish cleaning services provider ISS as the deadline for the first round of the sales process nears, according to reports.
The deal is said to be worth in the region of €5bn. It is believed that Blackstone, Bain Capital, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice and Nordic Capital are working on a joint bid, while Apollo and CVC are also looking to make a joint offer. Apax Partners is said to be making an independent bid.
ISS was taken private by EQT and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners in 2005. According to earlier reports, the investors were looking at an IPO. The first round deadline for making bids is believed to be on Monday.
In 2009 ISS recorded revenue of DKK 69bn and adjusted EBITDA of DKK 4.74bn.
